Impala is a full-size car built by Chevrolet and is popular flagship passenger sedans. Generally, it is among the better selling American made automobiles in the United States. 2000-2014 Impala & 2014-2016 Impala Limited use a two-headlight system. The bulb sizes are as following:

Sometimes, even everybody’s favorite vehicles may need upgrades. Aftermarket HID & LED lights were proved to be brighter than the vast majority of factory (OEM) lighting equipment. At the same time, drivers may face issues with the installation and operation of the headlights after their upgrade.
Flickering may be caused by aftermarket bulbs drawing less power than the factory ones. The most common case is when the Daytime Running Lights are the same bulbs, which you are upgrading. DRL issue occurs on Chevrolet Impalas starting from 2000 - till present time. 9006 (2000-2005 Impalas), H11 (2006-2014), 9012 (2015+) performs the function of DRL on Chevrolet Impala. To resolve this issue installation of relay harness is highly recommended. This wiring helps stabilize the power supply, providing the power directly from the car battery.
Chevy Impala is also known for automatic lights issue when low beam comes on by itself. Please mind that you should disable automatic lights and switch them to manual operation.
