Lexus IS 250 and 350 models represent the second generation of IS model. It was sold in North America,
Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Singapore, Chile, South Africa and South Korea and was introduced to the
public

The introduction of the second-generation IS model marked a resurgence in sales for the IS line, with a
332% increase overall in 2006 compared to the previous year. In its first year of sales, the IS sold over 49,000
units, making it one of the ten best-selling luxury cars in the US.
The second-generation IS models offered a more typical Lexus interior compared to the previous generation
with a focus on luxurious amenities. The interior featured memory seats made of leather, lightsaber-like
electroluminescent instrument display lighting and LED interior lighting accents, optional Bird's Eye

suspension and steering were retuned for improved stability and control in 2008.
The headlights that are needed for 2006-2009 IS 250 and 350 are the same. These cars are
available with two headlight options: halogen (H11 bulb size) and HID (D4S lights) Low beam.
The High beams are always of 9005
bulbs size while Fog lights require 9006 set.
After three years with only one body style, the IS returned with a second body style, this
time
as a hardtop convertible, the IS 250 C debuted at the Paris Motor Show. A more powerful IS
350 C
also became
available, with engine specifications analogous to those on the sedan models.
Now the buyers can find sedan (Base) and Convertible (C) options of IS model. The Base
requires
9005 set for High beams, H11 for Fog Lights and H11 (Halogen headlights) or D4S (factory
HIDs) for
Low beams.
When it comes to Convertible, then High and Low beams are provided be a single D4S bulb that
is
installed into a projector headlight housing. The Fog lights require H16 bulb size.
The third-generation Lexus IS premiered in January 2013 and includes the V6-powered IS 350
and IS
250, and performance-tuned F Sport variants.
These F Sport models include enhanced handling and performance, Adaptive Variable Suspension
and
Variable Gear Ratio Steering (IS 350). Not only does the F Sport models handle differently,
but they
are more
aggressively styled to set them apart from the base production models.
Thus, Base and F Sport IS 250/350 models require D4S bulbs that perform for High and Low
beams.
And H16 for optional Fog lights.
The Convertible (C) and F Sport Convertible (C F Sport) take H11 (OEM Halogen) or D4S
(factory
HID) lights for Low beams, 9005 bulbs for High beams and H11 for Fog lights.
We offer replacement bulbs for all of the above-mentioned headlight and fog light sets: H11, 9005, 9006
and D4S. The lights are available in multiple color options starting with yellow and ending up with dark blue
tint.
We would like to pay your attention to the fact that car’s electric system cannot ignore an installation
of aftermarket equipment, that is why errors may occur. The remedy for this may be a wiring relay harness with a
pair
of load resistors. If you doubt that this is an easy installation, just give us a call or send an email and we
will be happy to assist you.
