Firstly, it’s worth mentioning that D2R bulbs are designed for reflector housings only. Secondly, when it comes to ballasts replacement, we advise some professional interference.

Ballasts, in particular, are an important complement to the kit. They help convert direct current from your car into alternative one, thus prolonging the lifespan of the whole HID system. The main function of these power units is to ignite the bulbs and then provide stable voltage for their proper operation. They are tested to be 100% dustproof not leaving any chances for dirt to get inside.
